Biography
Kumud Gandhi, Keynote Speaker, is the CEO and founder of The Cooking Academy – an award-winning cookery school and wellness academy that brings the science and nutrition of food to the heart of everything they teach.
Graduating from the London School of Economics, Kumud began her career in the financial world with the Bank of England, where she was Head of International Investment Markets.
In 2001, Kumud followed her instinct and her family heritage in the science of food, shifting gears to study Food Science at The London Food Centre. Pursuing her thirst for knowledge to understand the chemistry of food.
She went on to earn a Masters in Functional Medicine and Nutrition from King’s College, London. This expertise equipped her with all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, gaining a deep understanding of how the chemistry of food impacts our biology and therefore the intrinsic relationship between what we eat and how we feel…….
